Bookings and Payments
What do I need to rent a scooter?
You need a valid driving license (A or B depending on the vehicle), an identity document, and of course, the actual ability to ride the requested scooter.
How can I get a quote?
Quotes are immediate via our online booking tool: enter dates and times to view available models and prices. IMPORTANT: If you wish to return the scooter on Sunday or after-hours (not selectable online), book the closest available times and contact us: automatic return is possible, but only if the security deposit is made by credit card. Note: Scooter pick-up is only permitted during our official opening days and hours.
How do I complete the booking?
After the quote, enter the driver’s details and pay a 30% deposit via card, Revolut Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or others. The remaining 70% will be paid comfortably at pickup.
Is it possible to book via phone or WhatsApp?
To ensure maximum precision and real-time availability, bookings are managed only through the website (recommended) or via email. For last-minute bookings, you can contact us via WhatsApp or visit our office to check for available vehicles.
Do you recommend booking in advance for summer months?
Absolutely yes. During high season and holidays, demand is very high: we recommend booking well in advance to guarantee vehicle availability.
Is a refund provided in case of cancellation?
The 30% deposit is non-refundable as it guarantees the availability of the vehicle reserved for you. Refunds may be considered, at our management’s discretion, only for documented force majeure (e.g., flight cancellation or health reasons).
Requirements and Safety
What does “at least 1 year of driving experience” mean?
Safety is important to us, and a category B license alone does not guarantee experience on two wheels. For this reason, we require that you have ridden a scooter regularly and possess real mastery of the vehicle, an essential factor for riding safely in Italy’s challenging urban and extra-urban traffic. In case of evident inability to ride at the time of pickup, we reserve the right to cancel the booking to protect your safety and that of others.
Insurance and Deposits
Is a security deposit required?
Yes, a security deposit (cash or non-prepaid credit/debit card) of €300 for 50cc/125cc and €600 for 300cc is required at pickup. The sum is fully refunded upon return of the scooter without damage.
What is the Deductible (Franchigia)?
The deductible is your maximum liability in case of theft or damage. It is €500 for 50cc/125cc and €1,500 for 300cc. You can halve it by activating MINI KASKO.
What is MINI KASKO?
It is supplementary insurance coverage that, at a cost of €10 per day, halves your liability: the deductible drops to €250 (50/125cc) or €750 (300cc).
Vehicle Management and Logistics
What is included in the rental price?
The price includes 2 helmets, top box, disc lock anti-theft, and basic insurance.
How many Km are included in the rental price?
120km/day (125/300cc) and 70km/day (50cc) are included. These are plenty for a two-wheeler and enough to reach the beaches of Villasimius and Chia (about 50km from Cagliari). Any extra km cost €0.25/km.
Is the Km count cumulative?
Yes, total kilometers are calculated over the entire rental duration (e.g., 3 days on a 125cc = 360 total km to be used freely).
Must the scooter be returned with a full tank?
The scooter is delivered with a certain fuel level and must be returned with the same level.
Is there a surcharge for a second driver?
No, driving is free and a second driver is included free of charge.
Is it possible to pick up the scooter at the Airport?
No, pickup takes place exclusively at our offices in Viale Trieste 95 in Cagliari during our opening hours. We are open Monday to Saturday (9:30-13:00 / 17:30-19:30) and Sundays only in August (10:00-13:00).
How to reach you from Cagliari Airport?
We are in the center of Cagliari at Viale Trieste 95, reachable by train from the airport. The train leaves every 20 minutes and reaches the Central Station (Piazza Matteotti) in just 8 minutes. Our offices are only a 600m walk from the station. By Taxi, it takes about 10-15 minutes (Fixed Taxi Fare daytime Airport – Cagliari Viale Trieste and vice versa €17).
Is it possible to return the scooter at the Airport?
Yes, if the deposit was paid by credit card, it is possible, with prior authorization, to perform an automatic return at the Airport even on Sundays and after-hours. This is an extra service costing €35.
Is it possible to return the scooter after-hours at the office?
Yes, if the deposit is by credit card, it is possible, with prior authorization, to perform an automatic return at our office, even on Sundays and after-hours. Automatic return at the office is free of charge.
