About Us: MyScoot.net was born in Sardinia
MyScoot.net was founded in 2017 in Cagliari as a start-up dedicated to tourism and smart mobility. The idea was born from a deep knowledge of our land, Sardinia, and the awareness that the best way to discover its wild essence and breathtaking views, even while on holiday, is on the back of a scooter. We started with a small fleet but a clear goal: to allow every traveler to move in total freedom, far from the traffic and parking difficulties typical of urban and coastal areas.
Our connection to the island is the beating heart of the project. Cagliari was not just our birthplace, but the laboratory where we refined our service model. In Sardinia, a scooter is not just a means of transport, but the ideal tool for reaching hidden coves or getting lost in the alleys of historic districts. This direct field experience allowed us to grow, basing every step on the trust and satisfaction of those who chose to rely on us for their holidays.
From Sardinia to the Franchising Project
The results achieved in Cagliari and the enthusiastic response from tourists convinced us, in 2020, to transform our know-how into a national Franchising Project. MyScoot.net thus became the first Franchise in Italy specialized in the scooter rental sector, offering other entrepreneurs the opportunity to replicate a proven business model.
Thanks to the passion of our affiliates, we brought this method first to Budoni, to serve the northeast of the island, and subsequently outside of Sardinia with the opening in Naples. Even in a complex metropolis, we proved that our pillars — ease of booking, reliable vehicles, and attention to customer needs — were successful.
Today, what began as a Sardinian start-up is working with the same determination to bring its model to new cities such as Rome and Palermo.
Our Fleet
Our fleet focuses on the latest generation of high-performance and safe petrol models (50cc, 125cc, and 300cc), selected to ensure maximum efficiency in both urban traffic and extra-urban routes. Choosing a scooter is not just a matter of freedom, but also an eco-friendly choice: a car trapped in summer queues can produce up to 5 times more fuel consumption and emissions than a scooter. Reducing travel time means reducing the impact on the environment we love to explore. We follow with great interest, and are currently testing, all new electric mobility technologies; however, our priority remains the guarantee of a reliable vehicle that never fails a customer’s expectations during their journey.
What makes us proud today is not so much the growth of the business, but the hundreds of positive reviews collected over the years. They are proof that the passion with which we were born in Cagliari is fully transmitted to each of our locations, combining service efficiency with sustainability and maximum respect for the territories that host us.
